Don't rely on this office to give you accurate information for your costs. Make sure you call your insurance, and get any charges and what they will cover in writing or you'll end up having to pay out of pocket more that you planned on.
Dr. Firlik is a very competent dentist with an eye for detail. Here staff are all great people. She has the most up to date equipment required by her profession. I will use avail myself of her services again should the need arise.
Dr Firlik and her staff are the best! Extraordinary care and concern for the overall wellness and comfort of her patients is the norm not exception with Dr Firlik. My oral health and mild sleep apnea are in great hands with Dr Firlik and her staff! Going to the dentist never used to be fun, now its something I no longer dread!
I was told earlier in the year that Dr. Firlik would not be participating with my insurance any longer. I asked the front desk to cancel any of my future appointments since I did not want to pay out of pocket. I was advised that my next appointments would be covered, but that later ones in the year would not be covered. I went ahead and canceled the ones that were later in the year. I went to the other appointments I was advised would be covered (for dental work that was currently being worked on), and I received a large bill in the mail at a later date. I was told that I was advised they would not be participating with my insurance. I explained when I tried to cancel those appointments, they assured me the costs would still be covered for those particular appointments. I've been arguing with them over the bill for several months. I finally paid it today so my credit wouldn't be tarnished. Please be aware, anything this office says is going to be covered by insurance, get it in writing!!
I had two partial crowns put on yesterday. Very professionally done by Dr. Firlik. They fit perfectly. This is not easy work as I'm a technical person myself. I'm very satisfied with the service I experienced.
We love this office! I have always had a horrible fear of the dentist (even at 30 years old) until going to Dr. Firlik. Her and her staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They definitely care about their patients and take the time to get to know you as a person and understand your needs. I appreciate having found them and would definitely recommend.
They also referred me to "an in network ortho doctor" for a crown. I went to that appointment and was advised by that office, that yes, they were in-network and that I had 100% coverage for crowns (which I do). I had the work done, and lo and behold, I get a bill for over $1300.00. When I called to talk to the ortho doctor, they stated, oh, they just told me what would be covered IF they were in-netowrk, and that was not the case. Dr. Ferliks office just said, oh, sorry, we thought they were in-network and would make a note that that particular ortho doctor was out of network for future.
