After my first visit to GLH, I will be back. We are new to the Belmont area and needed a vet for our 2 aging labs. The team was friendly and welcoming. I feel the exam was thorough and Dr. John spent appropriate time explaining and answering questions. I also did not feel pressured to spend. The decisions were mine. I will be bringing my other dog in January. Thanks for making us feel welcome!!

Our first and only experience at Great Lakes Hospital was when we came home to find our dog dying, and our usual vet was already closed for the day. They were right around the corner, they worked us in with fifteen minutes notice, and very compassionately took care of our dog and of our family. I was impressed that they did not make any attempt to take financial advantage of the situation, they provided a lot of care for a very affordable price they quoted upfront, with no "upcharges" I've heard of vets doing in cases like this. The vet's (and all the staffs') bedside manner was also remarkable.

I brought my newly acquired kitty to Great Lakes to be examined. They were very welcoming and very thorough. They told me what the cost would be before each procedure. All the costs seemed reasonable. They really checked out my kitty, testing him for FIV and Feline Leukemia before performing any other tests. I really liked how thorough they were and plan to bring all my other pets here as well. I have had pets all my life and been to many different vets in the area. I was very impressed on how well they took care of my kitty. They provided quality care at a reasonable cost.
